Our History
The Espejo Organization for the Arts (EOarts) was founded in 2013 by the Spanish visual artist and arts manager Kika Espejo. As an international creative herself, Kika recognized the profound need for guidance among foreign-born artists seeking to build meaningful careers in the United States.
After obtaining her O1 visa, Kika began teaching workshops and offering consultations to fellow artists who hoped to make New York their new home, initially operating under the DBA Contemporary Art Practice (CAP). Within a year, the O1 workshops expanded into career development courses, mentoring programs, and exhibitions, eventually shaping the foundation of an organization dedicated to supporting international artists and creative professionals in developing strong and fulfilling careers in the US.
By January 2016, EOarts fully embraced its name and continued expanding programs designed to offer promotional and strategic support for artists. Over its 13 years of activity, EOarts has helped more than 100 international creatives achieve their goals of living and working in the United States. Today, the organization represents extraordinary talent from around the world and remains committed to continuously improving and creating new tools for its clients.
