IMAGE MAKING WORKSHOPS FOR KIDS
The Image-Making Workshop is a 4 weeks program designed for 3 to 5 years old kids where they will learn through play how to operate different photography cameras and will create their own images through Victorian silhouetting, direct contact photograms, instant photography, collage, and digital printing, among other techniques. Each Saturday, a 2 hours play scenario will teach them vocabulary and new skills to inspire imagination and stimulate their senses offering a tactile experience with photographic materials and equipment.

Larissa Nowak is a Brazilian photographer based in NYC since 2015. She studied at NYU School of Professional Studies and the International Center of Photography, becoming a teaching assistant for both of their continuing education programs and workshops. She has shown her photographs at NYU, Soho Photo Gallery, Gowanus Gallery, and Gallery MC. Since 2018, she works teaching kids in sports programs and after-school Pre-k educational programs.
